It was my daughter’s first day of kindergarten and I wanted to reach out to her in the middle of her first day to let her know that I was thinking of her.

That first day, I drew a picture and message on her napkin, and placed it in her lunch box. That simple message made her smile and from there it became a daily ritual. After some time, I began looking for a more environmentally friendly alternative to the disposable paper napkins I was using, to avoid the daily waste. I found cloth alternatives, but none that allowed me to continue sending her to school with daily uplifting messages. That is when I knew I needed to merge the two ideas into one; creatively designed cloth napkins that also had inspiring and uplifting messages.
